For those of you who have not had the pleasure of coming in to our delightful little store in Dorchester we are a small but perfectly formed Delicatessen located in the heart of Dorset.

I have owned the shop for 17 years and we are busier than we have ever been despite the doom and gloom you hear every time you turn on the TV. I believe this is down to 3 magic ingredients.....

So at last I have stepped into the modern world of online shopping due to pressure from many visitors to the shop wanting to be able to source our gorgeous products where they live and not just from visiting Dorchester.

So you will see on the menu the shop online now button will take you into where you can start shopping immediately. However for now we are only able to do local deliveries! By local we have stated the 5 postcode regions that we will stretch to. DT1 DT2 DT3 DT4 and DT5 with a view to extending this area to national delivery scheme without exception in time. The items for sale are exactly what you would find in store so the aim for now is to offer the great produce and service to a wider audiance than just those in Dorchester.

The 1000 products we have listed are simply the best we have to offer and this is official as each year there is a set of awards given out to quality independant food producers to recognise their achievements. The food Oscars if you like and they give Bronze, Silver & the cherished Gold awards to illustrate how fabulous the products are

         

This grading system truly is the mark of a great product as not only do lots of suppliers submit their products for this system of accreditation but the awards come in a host of different categories. For example there me be 50 different makes of Strawberry jam entered but only 3 will exit with an acholade and only one will achieve that Gold Taste Award.
